Wasatch Mountain Recreation: A Visual History

How did outdoor activities progress from ski jumping at Dry Canyon (behind the University of Utah) in 1916 to mountain biking at Deer Valley in the 2000s?  That's the question this exhibit answers as it details the growth and expansion of recreation in the Wasatch Mountains.

Located directly adjacent to the Mountain Sport Simulator, the exhibit boasts a large format interactive touchscreen displaying a photographic timeline of milestones and events in the history of Wasatch Mountain recreation. The timeline features everything from skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing to mountain biking, hang gliding and bobsledding.  Enjoy the slideshow of fun Utah outdoor activities or select your favorite sports and learn more about their history in Utah.
