It is with sadness that the Alf Engen Ski Museum has lost a “Key” Board Member. Herbert Livsey passed away on September 12, 2023, following surgery. Herb was a prominent attorney at Ray, Quinney, and Nebeker and, during the many years Herb served on the board of the Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation, he was the primary person who kept a close legal eye on all matters. This involved the initial construction of the Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center/Alf Engen Ski Museum and provided a primary role in building a strong relationship with the Utah Olympic Park organization.
Herb Livsey, although having a quiet and modest outgoing personality, was the one person called upon for counsel when needed and, without doubt, commanded the respect and love of all who had the opportunity to work with him. He will be deeply missed!
