Muffy Davis

Muffy Davis, born in 1972 in Sun Valley, Idaho, represents the unyielding power of human spirit. A world-class athlete, seven-time Paralympic medalist, and dedicated public servant, her journey from a life-altering ski accident to the highest podiums in international sport is nothing short of legendary.

Initially a top-ranked junior skier aiming for the Olympic stage, Davis’s path changed in 1989 after a training accident left her paralyzed. Redefining her “impossible,” she returned to the slopes as a mono-skier, securing four medals at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Paralympics, a gold medal in the World Ski Championships in 2000, and seven World Cup ski titles.
