“It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside Colin during my tenure as chair. He was an extraordinary leader and a true friend to our museum, and he will be deeply missed. We are forever grateful for his steadfast support, which laid a lasting foundation for the future of our shared mission.”
-Ron Steele, Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation Board Chair
The Team and Board at the Alf Engen Ski Museum joins our community in deeply mourning the passing of Colin Hilton, President and CEO of the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation.
For 20 years, Colin was a trusted partner and friend to our foundation. He recognized that reserving our region’s rich snowsports history is essential to inspiring future generations. Under his guidance, the Utah Olympic Park became a welcoming home where our exhibits, educational efforts, and historical preservation work could thrive alongside world-class athletic achievement.
Colin’s leadership, vision, and collaborative spirit leave behind an indelible imprint on Utah, the Olympic Movement, and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire team at the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation during this difficult time.
His passion for our shared mission will continue to guide and inspire us as we honor the champions, pioneers, and history he worked so tirelessly to preserve
