We are hiring! The full-time Museum Collections & Operations Manager is responsible for the professional care of the Alf Engen Ski Museum’s unique collections, which chronicle the history of skiing in the Intermountain West and the 2002 & 2034 Winter Olympic Games. This is a critical, dual-focused position where you’ll apply best practices to collections management (registration, archives, digital resources) while serving as the coordinator for exhibit and facility maintenance.
Join our part-time staff in this unique interactive position! As a museum guide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience by operating a state-of-the-art mountain sports simulator and providing informative and engaging interactions with guests. If you have a passion for snow sports or the Olympics, this is the position for you!
We offer a flexible work schedule and our part-time staff makes $18 an hour + 4% commission on the day’s exhibit sales. If you are interested, please reach out to us!
Be a part of our amazing volunteer docent family! Lead tours of the Alf Engen Ski Museum and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games Museum’s collections and special exhibits for school field trips. Flexible schedule, tours are on Wednesday or Friday mornings throughout the school year. Training and lunch are provided!
