"Beyond the White" Exhibit

“Beyond the White” is an exhibit by OurSundays and the Alf Engen Ski Museum, on display this winter at the Park City Visitor Information Center. The exhibit tells the story of how the OurSundays Ski and Board Club was started and includes quotes from club members about their experiences learning to ski/snowboard.

“Beyond the White shines a spotlight on the faces of Black winter sports enthusiasts. Typically concealed by hats, helmets, goggles, and neck gaiters, this exhibit reveals the individuals behind the gear. We are artists, doctors, engineers, scientists, teachers, and more. Sports, much like the arts, possess a unique power to unite people, and this exhibit celebrates the intersection of these two realms. It showcases the vibrant tapestry of who we are, bringing our style, energy, excitement, and joy- what we like to call a little flavor- to the slopes. We hope visitors enjoy experiencing this dynamic celebration of our community.”
